Fall Engagement at Rehoboth Beach Delaware

This session was a truly special one for me—because James and I go way back. We spent countless night shifts together, wandering the quiet hospital halls at 2 a.m., trying to keep each other awake. I can’t say I miss those nights, but I do miss my people, and James was one of them. So, when he and Hannah asked me to capture their wedding and engagement, I couldn’t have been more thrilled.

Rehoboth Beach holds a special place in their hearts, so it only made sense to have their engagement session there. We waited for the crowds to fade with summer and chose a perfect fall day to run along the shore, splash in the waves (which were, shockingly, warm!), and capture this unforgettable time in their lives.

I absolutely love beach sessions—there’s something so enchanting about a sunset by the water. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we caught the most stunning pink and purple hues lighting up the sky. And though we missed a rare glimpse of the northern lights that night, the long, dreamy sunset was magical enough for me.
